We purchased a new home and underwent a total remodel. I had a vision for most of the rooms, but I was perplexed with the family room.  This room was connected to the kitchen, had more of an open design and needed all new furnishings. Initially I thought "I got this," but after countless hours of on-line searches and views of design sites I was more confused than ever.  That's when Cory came to the rescue! She listened to my goals and needs and went to work. The process was effortless and her communication was stellar.  The design she presented was not only beautiful and functional, but provided a great flow between rooms.  We couldn't be happier with the result. I was so pleased that I used her to help me tweak the paint color in a few rooms and come back to advise me where to hang all my existing art work.I get so many compliments on my new home and I have Cory to thank for helping me pull it all together!

"​I recently finished a design project on an owner-occupied fixer-upper in Oakland with Cory. She's been great a designer throughout the project, designing a major remodel (bathroom, kitchen, floors, lighting throughout the unit) and also interfacing with and managing the contractors. Cory has great taste - everything looks amazing and it came together really well! And excellent communication skills and judgement — she was a pleasure to work with. She took the time to really understand what I wanted at the start of the project, then did the heavy lifting with the contractors and the design, presenting me with a manageable number of options/samples that were to my taste for easy decisions. Throughout, she kept the end result in mind, so all the elements we chose fit together beautifully now that they're in the unit. Where appropriate, she also spent time touring showrooms with me to figure out what I was looking for or to choose the right centerpiece. It's exactly the approach I needed with a demanding full-time job! I'm really pleased with the beautiful end result and the overall experience working with Cory.
